Who?
In 1941, the United States and Britain came together to form an historic agreement, the Atlantic Charter, that defined a common vision for the world. The terms included the right to self-determination, freedom of the seas, and a world free of want and fear.
We are forming our own transcontinental union this summer. While our own terms will be based in love and are a little less lofty, we're going to have a way cooler party once our agreement has been signed and blessed.
Maybe because we're both writers, creating our own biography is proving to be challenging (we could go on, and on, and on). Instead, we would love for you to bring your own stories of us – present, past and distant past – and share them with us and each other on our happy and momentous day.
We can't wait to see you all on July 7 as we create the next chapter of our lives together!

Ceremony
Our ceremony will be taking place at Calumet Park, 5424 Calumet Road, San Diego, CA on Saturday, July 7, 2012. Please arrive by 3:30PM. The ceremony is outdoors, so check the weather and dress accordingly. Speaking of which, attire is "Summer Cocktail Party."
Please note that parking is in a residential neighborhood, so allow time to find a spot.
Reception
The reception will be held at Old Venice restaurant in Point Loma: 2910 Canon Street, San Diego, CA. Proceedings will begin at 6:30PM, however you are welcome to make your way to the restaurant once the ceremony has ended. Please note Old Venice is a good 25-minute drive from Calumet Park.
You can find parking behind the restaurant and in the surrounding neighborhood.
Out Of Town Guests
San Diego has many beautiful places to explore! We recommend staying in a central location where you’ll be able to enjoy both the city and the beaches. Harbor Island is central and very close to our reception. Downtown San Diego also has fantastic choices! Here are just a few recommendations:
